Hide Your IP and Browse Anonymously on Android: How to Change Your Android Mobile IP Randomly


 Change your Android phone IP Randomly 

This is only education purpose so do not use the technique for any harmful Activities. 

Step 1: Confirm Root Access

Before anything else, make sure your phone is properly rooted or not. It must be rooted.

  • Install a root checker app from the Play Store (e.g. Root Checker)
  • Verify you have superuser access.

Step 2: Install Orbot (Tor Proxy)

  • Download Orbot from the official Tor Project site -https://www.torproject.org/download/ or the Play Store.
  • Open Orbot
  • Grant root access when prompted by SuperSU/Magisk

Step 3: Enable Transparent Proxy (Root Mode)

This is what enables system-wide Tor routing:

  1. Launch Orbot
  2. Tap the Settings icon
  3. Scroll down to "Transparent Proxying"
  4. Enable:
    • "Tor Everything"
    • "Enable Transparent Proxying"
    •  "Request Root Access"

This routes all traffic through Tor – including apps that don’t support proxies or VPNs.

 ðŸ“± Step 4: (Optional) Choose Specific Apps to Route Through Tor

If you don’t want to send all traffic through Tor:

  • Go to Orbot Settings
  • Tap on “Select Apps”
  • Choose only the apps you want to route through the Tor network (e.g., browsers, messenger apps)

Step 5: Start Orbot and Connect

  1. Go back to the main screen
  2. Press the onion button to connect
  3. You’ll see “Connected to the Tor network”

💡 Tap the “New Identity” button anytime to get a new IP address.

Step 6: Verify Your IP Changing or not.

To confirm your traffic is going through Tor:

  • Open a browser and go to https://check.torproject.org
  • If it says: “Congratulations. This browser is configured to use Tor.” → You're good.
